From years of developing her practice, Charonne now teaches a unique process for combining clay sculpting with lost wax casting in her studio, in Falkland, Scotland. The summer/autumn schedule offers both introductory courses for those with little to no experience of working in glass, to more advanced courses, where we incorporate textures from the landscape into beautifully tapered, sculpted forms. All of the courses are particularly suitable for existing glass fusers who now want to explore the more diverse opportunities available through glass casting.
Places are limited to 4 students per course, so that everyone will enjoy some individual tuition.
Gift vouchers are available, which have proved popular as birthday and Christmas presents!
'I loved Charone's casting workshop. It was relaxed, really organised and opened up a whole new avenue in glass.'
'A fantastic gift I'd recommend for all ages.'

For those travelling further afield, why not enjoy a very comfortable stay in a converted Whisky Distillery where the artist lives and works? The setting is tranquil with a shared courtyard outside and rolling hills beyond and world famous sights within easy reach. Falkland and Falkland Palace, where Outlander was filmed, is just 1 mile down the road and St Andrews, the home of golf, is just 30 minutes away.
