Coronet

Charonne Ruth Glass

'Coronet' is inspired by our time in Queenstown New Zealand, where I learnt how to ski at 51! As a family we skied between the Remarkables and Coronet ski resorts. By the end of the holiday I was skiing down blue slopes at a respectable speed.

In 'Coronet' I playfully traced the routes I journeyed down Coronet mountain. What was especially fun for me in the making of this piece was discovering how different a pattern I could create on the back from the the front of the piece.
